Routing VST on multiple tracks

Hi

New to a lot of this Im having trouble routing Peavey revalver on multiple tracks for 5 -6 guitar tracks.
I have been told you can rout multiple tracks without having to open the same VST several times for several guitar tracks.
I am currently doing this and the VST is freezing my PC and occasionally crashing it.
Is it possible to only have the VST open once but being able to use it in several tracks with different settings on each track with that same VST?

not with different settings.

Typically you would put the VST on a group track and route all the other tracks to the group track.
