Hi there, regarding the real time audio engine for Android, I heard that improvements have been made to Android 4.1 and 4.2 JellyBean. The initial tests have shown the latency to be even lower than iOS standards! -or so I’ve heard.

You heard incorrectly. Everything I’ve read is in the 50ms to 80ms range.
