Anyone tried connecting to Mac in Snow Leopard?

Anyone tried connecting to Mac in Snow Leopard?

Postby Sound_Temple_Studios » Mon Mar 04, 2013 5:01 pm

THe remote SKI required for the IC Pro App says it needs Lion or Mountain Lion. Anyone tried it with Snow Leopard with success (or failure)?

Thanks

Works for me (just tested 2mins ago) on this setup:

MBP 13" 2.4GHz C2D 8GB RAM with 64bit OS X Snow Leopard
Cubase 7.0.2 64bit
iPhone 4S with latest iOS and iC Pro, latest Steinberg SKI Remote plugin

I wouldn't recommend it for obvious reasons, Cubase 'n SKI-R both requiring Lion+ and so on, i personally intend to upgrade soon but it's not my primary DAW

I'm running snow leopard with 6.53 so my setup would be a little different. Anyone tried this setup?

Thanks much

Cubase iC Pro not working here with Cubase 6.5.3 64bit on Snow Leopard 10.6.8. Seems like there is no version for this combination of softwares.
Cubase 7.5.1 64bit ¦ MacBookPro late 2011 ¦ 2.5Ghz, 8 GB, Fireface400, OSX 10.8.5
Waves 9 ¦ Native Instruments Komplete 8 ¦ PSP Audioware
