Upgrading the audio engine from 16 bit to 24 bit is not just simply changing a number in the code. It’s more like a heart surgery. This can not be done within a maintenance update as we don’t want to risk the stability. As I have written somewhere else, we have this topic on our list and will tackle it in due time. In the meantime we will give the users other features that have been requested too.
