I can second the Tischmeier material. I have his video which is really informative. Most of my mixing basics come from that video actually. I think it’s paid though, so you won’t find it on youtube.
And, as ThePresent mentioned, he is actually german and the english videos are dubbed by a guy who speaks VERY slowly :p.
Oh and don’t bother about the plugins he recommends. Sure they’re good, but they’re all silly expensive
