Here is another stupid Newbie question.
facts: Yamaha CP-300, Mixing console Yamaha MG82cx, HP laptop with Icore 5 processor, Cubase AI5 and Cubase 7 trial, Ipad withbacktracks.
Basically, I want to record from the console where everythign is plugged in, Ipad (backtracks), Keyboard with USB and even Mic for voice.
I can’t get it to work and … do I feel stupid! Thougt was to use RCA record out from the mixing console into the laptop (microphone) and start recording but… doesn’t work and I would love to be guided with some hints, tips and tricks… Surely it has to do with settings not done properly but I have no clues.
Any help will be much appreciated,
