Thanks a lot Scott for the reply. Yep, I know about the bridge thing from PCI → PCIe. And that’s also why a was a little scared, that I had to buy a new RME PCIe I/O card. Currently I’m on an older Asus P5K deluxe mobo, which has served me well over the years. But everything is starting to get slow now, so I have to make a move to Z77 or wait for Z87.
But good to know from a pro, that it “should” be working fine in a bridged Asus Z77 board
