Extend "midi timing" track?

Brand new to Cubasis so need some help. We took one of the midi samples (jazzy groove chorus) to use as a “metronome” since we don’t like the Cubase metronome sound. We’d like to extend the amount of time this plays. Now it just plays a few bars and we can’t figure out how to make it go long enough for an entire song. We can loop it but that won’t work when we’re recording an audio track. I’m sure this is a simple thing but we just can’t figure it out.
Any help will be appreciated.

Select the correct track and part, press “copy” in the tools section, place the playhead right after the end of the the part and press “paste”. Repeat. After a few times, you might be quicker by selecting multiple copies with the “select” tool.

Thanks, I knew it had to be simple

Hello,

you do not have to place the playhead behind the pasted files every time. New copies are inserted after existing material if you paste multiple times.
