Midi note sticking in OSX 10.6.8

I’m trying to get my wife’s system stable.

She has a 27" iMac running OSX 10.6.8, Cubase 6 and Reason 4
Audio inputs work perfectly. Playback is fine.

Midi notes stick in both Cubase and Reason.
Both keyboards I’ve tried get stuck as well.
A Yamaha P150 plugged into M-Audio midi interface
and a Line 6 Mobile Keys 49 of mine that runs fine
on my system.

Just bought a Presonus Audiobox 44VLZ for her with built in midi, same problem.

2 different midi keyboards
2 different midi interfaces

Same problem, midi notes stick. This makes all midi unusuable.

Any ideas?

Incase anyone in the future has this problem,
I did finally figure it out.

It was the Novation Zero Controller.

It wasn’t connected via USB and must have been accessing
info from the keyboards and making the notes stick.

Problem solved.
