You just want Cubase 7 without that darn mixer
I don’t think he is the only one .
If they reverted, they could call it “Cubase Classic”

Hi all,
we are currently preparing the 6.5.5 release and will announce it soon.Best,
Helge
So where is the announcement?
I’d guess that all hands are at the Cubase 7 pump.
Is it not possible to drag Curve VST into 6.5 or have they hardwired it into 7?
Aloha m, Great idea soooo…
after reading your post I tried really hard but still
I could not find a way to use the Voxengo plug from C7 in C6.

Maybe “soon” is actually a German word, which means “far off in the distant future” (?)

Oh I never tried.
I knew it would be too easy for them to let us do that.
People would be running Retrologue in SX!!
Seems to work if you drag it to the common files vst3 folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST3

OK, thanks.
Would I be correct in assuming that the channel strip is not a “vst3 plug-in”?

I´m not a programmer, but it has sidechain, so it certainly is according to VST3 specification - if it can be called a plugin or not - I don´t know - in any case, it is embedded into the Cubase GUI.
Alexis, you’re off topic. Move your questions elsewherre please.
Anyone around long enough to remember SX3’s promised last update?
I’m still waiting …do you think it’s time to give up

Naw.
I think ChrisW is right.
I’d guess that all hands are at the Cubase 7 pump.
I agree.
Seems to be some strange ‘Mix Console’ graphic issues going on over there.
Once that’s all done…C6.5.5. Yea!
