Shut your 'puter down or leave it 'on'?

When I at 1st lived alone 4 years ago, I didn’t watch TV, didn’t even turn on my DAW for over a year. I had one CFL bulb going at any one time. I didn’t use the heat or AC in my 1st year. It was in the high 90’s in my house in the summer and I passed out on the floor a couple of times and low 30’s inside in the winter, I wore layers, gloves and a beannie hat to keep my teeth from chattering. I wan’t just being cheap, my work had slowed down to next to nothing during the economy, and I didn’t want to lose the house I just bought. I even hung my clothes inside to dry during the winter…took a couple of days to dry. In 100 degree summer it takes about 30 minutes. That’s how my bills were so low

There has got to be a song in there somewhere.
