Thank you for the compliment and input! I agree with you and wanted to squash it a little more but when I did, I couldn’t get the build to crescendo and intensify above the intro. Maybe it’s the type of compressor I’m using and my settings but in keeping a linear volume, it just wasn’t working. I hope this explanation comes out right:
When I compress the whole mix, if there is a piano playing and then I add 3 more instruments, the piano ends up being 1/4 of it’s original volume and the whole mix takes over the piano’s original volume. Therefore, each instrument not only decreases in volume but loses it’s intensity. I had to compress each instrument (like I usually do) and back off on the total mix compression.
Being as you are a compression fiend, 
maybe you could render some advice in that area.(?)
