re Upgrade

Postby richardwhl » Sun Sep 15, 2013 1:03 pm

Hi, here's my question.

I have Cubase 4. I originally bought SX and have updated it a few times. Now I have the original disks and all the upgrade disks.

Is there any way I can make some kind of "boot" cd of all these versions? The thoughts of buying Cubase 7 and having to install it in increments from SX is not good!

Can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks :?

You don't need the previous versions installed to install R7.
If in doubt scream and shout.

You will pay the normal upgrade price in the shop.

The license of Cubase 7 includes all licenses before, so if you would like to run Cubase 4 as well you could do.

But that really doesn't make any sense.

Hi Richard,
The most important thing you need is the USB-dongle with your Cubase 4 license. During the license upgrade, if you don't have the old license the upgrade procedure will be aborted.
