Drums for a Cubase Newbie

Postby minor7sharp5 » Fri Nov 01, 2013 5:03 pm

Hi,

Is it possible to lay down a country/blues shuffle in Cubase so I can jam and demo a quick tune or do I have to plug in my Korg and put together a drum track? (I'm not the greatest on keys so this takes more time than I'd like.) I just want to lay down quick ideas on top of a beat. Is this possible???

Thanks.

Loopmash, drawing in MIDI data on an instrument or MIDI track, or a number of other ways.

What version of Cubase? If you have HSSE as a plugin, there are various drumkits and loop presets that should foot the bill with little effort.
cpu:i7 980x - RAM:24gb - OS:Win8.1x64 - Interfaces:Lynx Aurora, Komplete Audio 6 - MIDI:Midisport 4x4, Quadra Thru
Steiny Suff: CMC:FD,CH,TP,QC,PD | Wavelab 8 |Cubase 6.5/7.5| H5, HS2, HSO, Padshop Pro
