Wavelab 8.0.3 is frozen on "bad" Waves 7 plugin

Postby obe » Thu Nov 14, 2013 3:11 pm

Hi Forum

I have an annoying problem with Wavelab 8's non-support of old Waves-plugins which I accidently inserted on the Master section:
I can't remove the plugin without Walelab crashing !!

I have deleted the 2 preferences files in the root folder of "Preferences" but the damned plugin pops up again, and my old Wavelab 7 presets are now bound to crash as they contain old plugins.

Has anyone made the same stupid mistake as me ?

I run Mac OS 10.7.5

Best of wishes

Erase this file before running WaveLab:
/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences/WaveLab 8/Cache\Window Config/MasterSectionPreset.dat
