I LOVE the Control Room functionality of Cubase 6.5 and Nuendo 5.5.
Much better visibility, and more info at a glance. More like an actual mixer with all studio sends/meters in sight at the same time. Much faster to set up cue-mixes in a full band tracking scenario. Not that much clicking.
In addition you can see all inserts on all track with a touch of a button (toggles between meters and inserts).
This is another thing going backwards in Cubase 7. But I agree that the Control Room is a unique and very welcome thing in Cubase/Nuendo, if not Steinberg breaks it completely .
100% agreed !
The Control Room feature is great !
The implementation in C7 takes it a few steps back.
For serious work, C6.5.5 is the way to go !

me to finding C7 CR confusing , it opens it closes its not possible to see all cues full controls at one glance, its more clicky with mouse… was better and straightforward in cubase 5…so i vote for improved GUI on this one too.
