The last time (the Japan thing) I was one of the naysayers, although I don’t think I was as strident as ya’ll about it. My thinking hasn’t changed much, but I DO think if people want to do this, more power to them. What’s ironic is that a few months after the last one, I actually DID write and record something, using surfer’s lyrics (about the Japanese mountain goddess), and sung by a female Japanese friend of mine that is one of the better pieces I’ve done – haunting. Of course, nobody cares now. 
Anyway, one of my all-time favorite Forum songs was “Blue Haitian Skies” written by the incomparable genius Mobius (Darren something) and the equally incomparable Hackenslash on vocals.
