DO YOUR JOB UPDATE 7.0.6 RATHER THEN SELLING 7.5 !

Postby sgodzillat » Tue Dec 03, 2013 6:07 pm

i'm bugged with 7.0.6
mixing windows are buged i have midi bugs and so on.
i have work to do ! but wasting so many time on forum finding out it's not my pc but steinberg's developpment that is the problem.

now i go to support page and like every month hope there's an update to fix all this crappy bugs and what do i find ?
BUY 7.5 ? ! are you kidding me ? you mean there's more commercial in your office then developpers ? how is it possible to even think fo releasing something new while the previous is hardly working ?

now i know i post upset messages here and there and get moderators unhappy. but caman i paid for this and i'm working pro but it reached a limit really this starts to be a problem working with cubase.
i really wonder how those guys you interview do .. HZ really using this ? seriously ? i start to doubt it.

+1. Although, I would pay for the new features, but I want stability.. I agree $49 is not bad price for the new features, but at what cost?

No mixer or MIDI bugs here. C7 has been rock solid here since version 0.

I am me, who are you?

I don't see you listing specific issues so I'm guessing this is just a rant.

i've been listing problems display midi freeze etc but the only answers i get from people having the same is that .. that's how it is. only update can fix this.. and there's no update.
it's nice you have no problem enjoy

edit--
wait i guess the "who are you" joke is not such a silly question after all.
you have over 500 posts in 3 months and never created a single one ?
i don't even know how you find time to actually do music with cubase.
please if you just want to say cubase is great that's ok or even if you get pay for this it's even better but let's be honest and not pretend it's my problem if it's buged and i'm the only one.

There are lots of helpful people on this forum. I’m sure that if you put up your system specs and details of the problems you would find some help in getting your set up working well.

I’m not denying your problems but my Cubase 7.06 was been solid in my studio.

Today environment are complex... PC/MAC, operating systems, 32 bits, 64 bits, interfaces, firmware, DAW, plug-ins, etc... stability should be harder that it really is.
I have problems after installed Maverick un my Mac. Tried everything. Then I realize I did not check the interface firmware, so I did. Presto, everything is fine now. I am not saying systems shouldn't be stabilize first, I just believe it is a major task, it is not easy to have a SW that works flawless in EVERY environment, in EVERY combination of OS, HW, SW, and so on...
I rather participate on forums and help other people, and seek for help. I am not expecting miracles from no one, and I know it is exactly the same in every other DAW.

If you missed it, we will release a 7.0.7 in January.

I do not find an issue report from you....maybe overseen. PM me or Fabio

As my colleague Fabio Bartolini has written to you, watch you speech, explain exactly what is going wrong, step by step so we can reproduce it. Otherwise these topics will be deleted.

Thank you for your understanding.
