what isnt right with cubase 7.5

Everything else...

what isnt right with cubase 7.5

1) audacity to charge for an update to version 7 of the software.
2) Audio drop outs not fixed
3) screws up your previously saved projects
4) changes the key of instruments and the original pitching.
5) double crossing those who thought they had bought a boxed version to find it was a download.

Before screwing your loyal customer base make sure that your software is up to scratch before releasing it or they go elsewhere.

I am sure under European law even computer software has to be fit for purpose. Germany at the last count was a member of the European Union so that law applies to Steinberg.

Damn another £40 for a piece of crippled software.

Now had I have kept to 6.5 I would have saved myself a heap of money.

1) offers an update if people want it
2) don't need to fix something that isn't broken. Throw away your computer and take up pottery.
3) who is "your"? If by "your" you mean mine .. then you are wrong. Projects open fine.
4) No pitch changes either ... all pitches remain the way I set them.
5) Fully published that the boxed copy had a download associated. Your inability to read is not Steinberg's responsibility.

Other than that, you are spot on. And thank you for the diversion while I wait for some tracks to render in their proper key.

i admit this one is not very constructive but why when someone report something negative or is just unhappy you immediatly have a mods, senior members admin who claim it's troll and answer like "it's all good at MY place".

actually thinking of 7.5 i really find interesting to read people who bought it and have problems (already)
it reminds me 7.0.6 is still buged and it's a bad idea for me to go 7.5 specially if i have some work on going and don't want to face extra problems.

If you look, people are complaining. But the complaints are explained with real reproduction steps, pictures and questions like "have I missed something?" In other words it's constructive criticism as we learn the new version. BS rants with no content just waste space and time.

J M Ceicil go back to primary school.
[MODERATOR]: Please refrain from personal attacks

you may not like a negative comment, but that is my right as a human being to report what 7.5 has done to my pc.

yet I am not alone in commenting on what this has done.

Just because you don't have a problem doesn't mean that some one else isn't experiencing one.

Like a dinosaur just because your day went by without a qualm doesn't mean that meteor is not out there going to strike.

You need to read what I wrote again. But, like writing, reading seems to be out of your grasp.

It's two bad they did not at least give the update for free. I bought and registered my copy on August 30th and missed the cut by a month and a few weeks. Stinks that I would have to shell out another Fifty bucks just to get and update which really should be free until the next full version comes out.

The old days when it was cracked I could understand the glitches because of the hack job by the cracker guys. Now that I finally paid for a copy I just cannot understand why they would charge for an upgrade with very few bells and whistle, still however out the box with problems.

I agree that all software have problems and I am a Computer Engineer by trade so I understand it. Atleast give a 6 months or 90 window.....
