Bigtime! I read this thread and made the move. No hassles with the D/L, installed fine. Pointed it to my plugins and it rocked.
Here’s the big thing for me- Maybe my 7.0.6 install is slightly twisted, but now 7.5 opens faster, closes MUCH faster, and opens projects with pigs like Kontakt, Alchemy, Omnisphere WAY, WAY, WAY FASTER! It’s like night and day.
Groove Agent is another, cooler animal all together. All of my 7.0.6 projects opened right up. That’s all I’ve had time to get to so far, but I’m stoked. Worth every penny.
Edit: The VST performance seems better too. Seems too good to be true. Again, maybe I had a problem with 7.0.6. Either way, I’m a happy camper.
Fine I’m out. Everything is rosey and don’t comment otherwise. I’ve got a horrible creepy feeling slithering up my spine when I hear crap like this. It does seem very simple. Stupid me. Eh!
No idea? I just know that it solved the problems “back in the day” in Cubase 7.0.2 etc…
I’m sure MIXER 1 work fine now with 7.0.6 and 7.5 but I just continue use MIXER 2 because of this.
I have ZERO problems!
If you encounter problems with the mixer… try my work around.
Have you all notice how clear the graphic is now? I don’t mean it was blurry before but now its even more straight forward and clear. I really like it! Thanks Steinberg!
That’s not very nice. Freddie is a very enthusiastic guy who makes valuable contributions to this forum. And he does have good knowledge of both Cubase and computers. Give him a break.
That would be a big NO …
it still doesn’t save properly with workspaces (zoom + config)
it still has to have focus to use many mixconsole keycommands
it still loses focus if you use functions of the mixconsole itself
Mute/Mono/Solo don’t activate/deactivate all the time
QLink doesn’t work properly when soloing/muting… (probably associated somehow with the direct mute/solo bug)
it still doesn’t keep z-Order correct for plugins
it still corrupts randomly requiring a “reset” that requires you to reset everything
Mixer configurations corrupt randomly on recall
Mixer presets do really odd things to the mixconsole when loading (zoom, visibility)
and more …
