Actually it does!!!
I live about a mile up ‘Haleakala Volcano Mountain’
and about a mile up from me it has been know to snow on occasion.
When this happens, locals drive up, load up their pick-ups with snow
and then race back down the mountain to throw snowballs
at all the nude people on the beach.
Ouch!!
And I move all the way from Toronto to Maui just to be a mile
away from more snow. —go figure
