I get random snaps, crackles and pop on playback also. Ipad Air, 5 gig free, airplane mode, no extraneous apps. This is on a project currently with 20 audio tracks but the random noises happened when I had far fewer tracks. It doesn’t seem like the likely hood of noises grew with the number of tracks.
