[SOLVED]Cubase 7 Elements update to Artist 7..?

Postby kustas006 » Tue Apr 01, 2014 11:43 am

Hi,

I'm using Elements 7 and at the moment few limitations of this version becomes a headache for me; I've checked the Cubase "line-Up" and Artist 7 (7.5) is what I need at the moment. I want to purchase the downloadable Update-version, but the problem is I do not see the update "Elements 7 >>> Artis 7" in online Shop. Of course i can purchase the Artist 7 full version - but in this case i'll loose my money i paid for Elemnts 7.

My question is: is it possible to update from Elements 7 to Artis 7..?

Thnx in advance for you reply.

The reason for the Elements 7 -> Artist 7.5 Upgrade being available only as "boxed product" is that it will ship with a USB-eLicenser.

Thank You for reply!

I'm from Lithuania, and as I see we don't have local dealer. the closest one is in Poland (~600km away). The fact is - I do have a NEW e-Licencer. I bot it separately just before purchasing Elements 6 (this was my first purchase - after i updated it to 7) - I was not sure, if my Elements will work without e-Licenser, so i bot a new E-Licenser. So because of the "no dealer in Lithuania" and "my own e-Licenser" i prefer downloadable version as an update for Elements 7. Is it possible..?

This is something I might be interested in also -- I have an Elements license that I've moved to a spare USB eLicenser, and I might consider upgrading it to Artist at some point, but I don't want another USB eLicenser.

The same for me.
I want to upgrade from Cubase Elements 7 to Cubase Artist 7 or 7.5 by download way because I have an USB eLicenser... (I m using one, I don t need another again),
and because in my country (Argentina) imports are restricted with thousands of procedures making it almost imposible to buy.
So having downloading option for Elements 7 to Artist 7.5 UPGRADE would be a very fast purchase (a few minutes).
Please Give Us That Chance ! Thanks ! :(

Hello all,

For the time being those upgrades are only available as a box version and you will have to contact your local distributors.

@ #1 kustas006, perhaps you can find that upgrade on Thomann.

Hi,
I'm in Australia using Elements7 also. I went to upgrade to 7.5 online and also didn't see elements in the list of download updates here: http://www.steinberg.net/en/shop/buy_pr ... se-75.html. The closest was New Update from Cubase7. Now my elements7 is a version of 7 so I completed the purchase. I paid via Paypal and completed the download and received confirmation e-mail. Now when I try to activate the product I have paid for I get a no upgradable licenses message from the license centre. I did this before reading the above chain. I'm here trying to work out what to do as I've now paid for an upgrade I apparently can't use and I can't talk to anyone about it.
What do I do?
Thanks,
G

Hello,

Unfortunately it seems that you have purchased the wrong update. As you have already noticed you will not be able to use it. You have to reply to your confirmation email and contact ASKNET out online shop partner and request a refund as you have purchased the wrong product for you.

What you need is: The Upgrade from Cubase Elements 6/7 or Cubase Essential 4/5 .
You have Cubase Elements 7 not Cubase 7.
Please go back to the link that you posted there should be that option:

Cubase Elements 7 .png
(173.25 KiB) Not downloaded yet

As you are in Australia there is the possibility that this particular upgrade is not available in your country, in that case please get in contact with your local distributor:
