That makes perfect sense to me. If you need absolute stability one should not be working with the latest version / update even. NOTHING about new versions of software of any sort is reliable, be it music, graphics or even DTP software. If one works with what is reliable you don’t end up with clients upset or have crashes on deadlines. I would say that it takes about three to six months to properly evaluate any given new Cubase version. And this is from a very enthusiastic Cubase user. Bets testing? EVERTHING is a “beta” test for at least that long. There’s no such thing as “finished”.
