I know some people have asked for the app to include VST editing. That might be a big ask for a little app.
But one feature that seems obvious for a hands-on recording tool is keyswitching for things like HALion Symphonic. Trying to sensibly use keyswitches on any keyboard that isn’t a full 88 keys is a nightmare. Anything that would simplify this would be a godsend.
