I’m just about to re-start my mixing career:
After 18 months I’m still don’t “feel at home” in the Cubase 7.5 and N6 mixer. Probably never will. I just “hate” the new Control Room and “strongly dislike” the new Mix Console.
I still work greatly in N5.5 and C6.5, but owe it to my self to look for a more long-term mixing solution. For all other work, like recording, editing, midi and composing Nuendo and Cubase is still my DAW of choice. Probably always will. I just need another and better mixing environment (for me).
PS. I also tend to think that Breeze is probably spot on. He was at least sarcastic in a constructive way (thanks Lydiot).
