Recording Sustain Over a MIDI Track?

Hi

Anyone know how to record Sustain Info from the internal keyboard over a MIDI data which doesn’t have any?

I can play the pattern with the keys open, press on sustain and hear the effect applied to the notes, but Cubasis won’t record the sustain data when I try. It doesn’t delete the existing notes, but no control data is added.

I can’t see a way of adding sustain info manually. Recording to another MIDI track with the same instrument creates a separate instance of that instrument…

Am I missing something… Or do we need a MIDI Merge record function?

The 1.8 update will solve these problems. It will be available in a few weeks this month.
