Did you ever figure out if Toontrack has a demo of EZ Drummer 2 or not?
The one nice thing about EZ is that there are a ton of expansion packs for it. I actually would have bought EZ back when I got Superior but EZ was 32 bit only at the time and Superior overcame that with native 64 bit plugs. Another nice thing about Toontrack is NO DONGLE! I hate them. They break, are easy to loose and a general pain in the butt.
I also noticed with Addictive Drums that the program is free. You figure out what samples pack you want and each sample pack has a copy of AD in it. That is different.
So are you thinking of going with EZ2 or waiting (God knows how long - Would not trust Steiny support on it either) for GA4 to come out? Until Steiny puts out an official announcement I would not count on them bringing the goods to market. Maybe they will this year, but just as likely is the fact they may not.
