Yes I actually did that yesterday or last night and it did help to have a new fresh project. Now did you in your “test”, have Jamstix triggering another drum machine VST? I also wonder about the specs of your system? Though my system is pretty robust it has one weakness and that is video. The suggestion to close the GUI of Jamstix helped some too. So I wonder about your video card. But something is up as you are getting far better real time results than I am. I know my video card is capable of driving 4 displays. But overall it is kind of a low end card. I would have already upgraded the card but am kind of stuck as the video card slot is only a PCI Express 2.0 x16 and most of the better cards today use a PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot. Still I may have to do something about video to get it all to settle down? I see you run a later generation processor as I am running an i7 930 at 3 GHz.
