Glued two unrelated audio bits. Any way to undo this?

When you glue two audio events together, they just go into some kind of box. As in the attachment below.

Is there a way to undo that? Except for CTRL-Z of course, I’ve done some stuff since that I don’t want to lose.
Just extract them out of that box, to the same location.

Thanks.

If I am understanding you correctly, select that Audio part (what you refer to as the “box” ), go to the Audio menu, and “Dissolve Part”.
