Sooo, maybe this is the issue?
If you open the inspector section of the track list in Cubase and make sure you have selected a relevant instrumenttrack, does it say All MIDI Inputs above the instrument name?
If so you should be able to click here and select the specific MIDI port you want it to use.
Then your 2nd keyboard shouldn't affect this track.

Click on that and make the inspector visible....then follow my previous instructions.
I'd advise you put the device settings back as you found them.
