Yes this is still true.
There is a workaround of sorts in that you can bounce out up to 6 tracks to a 5.1 audio file, warp this and then split back out to single tracks. If you have more than 6 tracks this won’t help you though!
Are you sure you can’t improve on the cut’n slide results with some detailed manual editing?
