I assume Groove Agent will be released in July or August. July having the better odds in my eyes. Halion 5 was also released in July … before the German summer vacation starts.
Groove Agent 4 has no direct connection to the Groove Agent SE that is part of Cubase. As a Cubase 7.5 user with no previous Groove Agent 3 available, it will be the full version you need.
That one comes on August 20th as mentioned in the announcement.
There is also no upgrade from HALion Sonic SE 2 and there was no upgrade from Groove Agent One and HALion One to their “parent” applications. So it has always been like that and I can only ask for not another dicussion on the available upgrade paths or lack thereof.
Re.;Groove agent 4…
What are you guys and gals up to
nobody with a protools /cubase setup like me has updated to the MAC OS 10,8…
its a pile of rubbish and very unstable …only suited to IOS users (Iphones and housewives games)
I already updated to 10.7 which was a massive hassle as I lost all my PPC plugins n stuff (and to upgrade to cubase 7)
So whats this 10.8 spec on Macs…?
Oh …I know the answer…its typical Steinberg ineptitude…like only putting a colour code for entire tracks for a 600+ €
package until version 7
I will not be buying Groove agent 4…
how exactly do you make any money…?
Love the conga options! First time I have seen fingering options, palm and mute… should be fun, but so far not come across velocity multi sample per piece, and round robin settings. How many velocities and robins for a finger tap, for ex.
This is critical info if I’m buying into an additional drum program. You fill in these sort of blanks and it will be worth it!
Oh yeah… gotta mess the hair up, too clean for that type of beard. Looks hipsterish.
