Some it would seem want to run Cubase on their computer, whereas some of us buy/build a computer to run Cubase.
I think Steinberg is on the right track. No point reinventing the wheel. I’ve seen so many high end software applications (business apps costing 10s of 1000s of dollars) stumble and pale because they insist on reinventing windows within themselves instead of working in harmony with the OS
