They’re not going to do anything about it.
The manager at my studio wrote to them about it and was posting on this thread/forum, he was subsequently banned from all access to the forum because he kept on about the direct monitoring issue.
We have 3 units in one studio and a MOTU setup in the other … we’re working out what to do in the future.
Steinberg aren’t going to help us … they don’t care and the only possible action would be a class suit, and they know it’s too hard to organise.
So we’re over a barrel, getting what we deserve for putting faith into this company. We’ve always been Steinberg loyalists, but with the way they’re treating our staff, I don’t know if this will continue.
