Shift+VPot=fine tune Value!!!!??

like the title says i´am looking for that feature but can´t find it.
But i can´t imagine that this essential function is not there!?? or it really isn´t ??
Especially for filter sweeps usefull i think.
Please tell me where i can find it

Uwe

Hello,

i think that´s an essential feature, would be nice to have it.
Espessially in Bass i turn my V pot a little but value change is huge (eq freq), and i made
a measurement my controler only sends 1 for decrease or 65 for increase one time
if i turn my Vpot slow and a little.
Or maybe you don´t notice it (and blind i wouldn´t too) and this raw resolution is egnough !??
It only depends on interpretation from Cubase.
But i don´t know how to make a poll in feature request area.

What is this VPot?

Hello,

a Vpot is an Encoder in an Mackie Control Device mostly under an screen.
----> http://www.mackie.com/de/products/mcu/

Cause its funktion is context dependent, over the encoder on the screen it shows its temporary function(e.g. Filt2;Res;…)
And a Vpot works relative so no jumps, this system is great.
I set Vpot´s to EQ so I control the EQ with these 8 encoders; set to plugin mode I control the instrument
same with panorama. A Vpot sends out as signal a 1(+x when turned fast) or 65(+x when turned fast) when turned left or right and cubase then interpretes it to increase or decrease values. So one time sends 65 is smallest possible jump but in cubase filter it makes a relative big movement. Thats what I mean some kind of fine tune mode for mcu´s.
So nobody answers if this function is there or not - then I´ll do a feature request.
