Drives me nuts.
It’s almost impossible to tell which track is the current selection. There should be a way to UNIQUELY identify the currently active track… as in HTML where there is an :active property.

Well that should be easier to see too, but no, I meant in the Arranger thingee.
Have you set Preferences->Event Display-tracks->Colorize Track Controls to Max value?
