Showing lines in cues - doable?

I have used horizontal brackets (from line features) in a few parts to indicate a particular technique to a player.

Results are great and it’s a good feature but if it’s cued in another instrument, all the lines are omitted and I can’t seem to find a switch or button that will make them appear.

Am I missing something or is it just not possible at present?

I believe you’re correct that it’s not possible at present. Lines are the newest functionality in Dorico, so it’s possible that making it backwards compatible with all the various toggles and Engraving options for cues just hasn’t happened yet.

It would be necessary indeed to fix this in the future! At the moment you cannot create aleatoric cues with lines!

This might be what the original poster was looking for.

After selecting the cue (in Write mode or Engrave mode), open the Properties panel. In the Cues section, activate Show horizontal lines and click in the check box.

It was introduced in Dorico 4.1.
