What is the right output control room setting for headphone?

Hello.

I wonder which one is the right setting for headphone monitering between “phones” output setting and “monitor (1,2,3…)” output setting in the control room.
I can add “phone” output setting or “monitor” output setting in the control room for my headphone.
I can hear the output sound with “phones” output setting,
but I can also hear the output sound with “monitor” output setting.

So it’s possible to use both output setting using headphone but wonder what setting is the best.
I noticed that the sound from the headphone with “monitor 1” output setting has less reverb or tale sound,
and the sound from the headphone with “phones” output setting has more reverb or tale sound than “monitor 1” output setting.
I wonder which one is right “flat” sound for headphone monitoring.

The sound from both outputs is the same, if you select them to monitor the same signal - nothing with more or less reverb for one or the other. The differences in which one does what are explained in the manual.
