Same problem here, there’s probably something wrong with the Win x64 update package.
First I was getting the same message then I copied the Halion5_64bit.msi file from the Halion 5 DVD to the same folder of the update exe file. That way I could install the update.
If you read the whole thing (all the way to the end) there is a link to a .pdf of version notes.

I did a reinstall of Halion 5 and then the update 5.1…it works
Is there a new video showing these changes like with Groove Agent 4?

I also had to reinstall H5 completely for the 5.1 updater to work.
All good here, update installed and Halion seems to be improved - even a bit snappier.

but in fact theses keys are just the entries in the add/remove programs, so when you will reinstall these keys will come back .
deleting them tells windows installer the program is not installed and let you install& update after.
