Artist Talk: Cubase as Basis for International Chart Productions

Producer and songwriter Jesper Borgen provides us with insights into the creation of chart hit productions such as "Faded" by Alan Walker.

Jesper Borgen is one of Norway’s most successful producers and songwriters in recent years. His work has been sold over two million and streamed 350 million times. Borgen helped creating the song "Black Hug" for the popular Korean Girls Generation, whose album "Mr. Mr." was #1 in 15 countries throughout Asia. This year, the song "Faded" by Alan Walker was #1 in Germany and many other countries over several weeks. Jesper Borgen was also awarded "Songwriter Of The Year 2015" in Norway and has a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music.

Deeply immersed in London’s thriving and diverse music scene Matt Nash has grown and matured as both a DJ and producer. Highlights so far include two tracks on Tiesto’s album, “Starlight” with Don Diablo released on Axtone and “Till The End” featuring Tara McDonald on Marcus Schossows’ label Code Red. Further successes followed for Nash with his collaboration with AN21 “Louder” on Size Records plus “Heartbeats” on Kryders’ Sosumi label.
