Ed Is Dead

Behind the name Ed Is Dead, influential DJ and long-trajectory producer Eduardo Ostos has built a solid career as musician and owner of the Fashion Beat Team music studio in Madrid, Spain. In 2015, Ed Is Dead launched his debut album “Change” and was awarded the VMA as Best Electronic Producer. During 2016 Ed Is Dead performed in venues, theaters and festivals the likes of Sónar, SOS, Sonorama and Arenal Sound among many others.
At Musikmesse, Ed Is Dead is taking the audience through the stages of producing his hit track “Alpha Women”. Be at the Steinberg stage in the Portalhaus at 2 PM CEST on Wednesday, April 5 to see Ed Is Dead in person or watch the live feed via Facebook.
Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 1 PM CEST
Jayce Lewis is an obsessive multi-instrumentalist solo artist hailing from Bridgend, South Wales. He is mostly known for his mainstream success beginning in late 2009, laying the foundations with the release of his Asian top-10 charting single “Icon” and a debut album with EMI Records, directly resulting a rare, featured BBC 1 Music documentary titled “Big In India” documenting his touring life around the globe.
On Thursday, April 6, be sure to stop by the Steinberg stage in the Portalhaus at 1 PM CEST to see Jayce’s demo on guitar recording. And in case you miss the show, there’s always the feed on Facebook you can watch, too.

Oliver Palotai is a classically trained German musician and internationally touring multi-instrumentalist as well as being a songwriter, producer, mixing engineer and orchestrator for classical symphonic arrangements and film music. Next to his own band Sons Of Seasons, he is a part of the legendary US power metal band Kamelot. In the past he joined forces with Doro Pesch, Blaze Bayley (former singer of Iron Maiden), Uli Jon Roth and many more.
Oliver will be at Musikmesse on Friday, April 7 to unveil some of his very own production tips in Cubase. Come to the Steinberg stage in the Portalhaus at 2 PM CEST to catch Oliver live on stage or watch the live feed on our Facebook page.

Helen Jane Long is one of the most popular and versatile British composers. She is well known for her memorable cinematic compositions. Helen has written extensively for film and television, composing music for some of the world’s most lucrative brands. As a recording artist, Helen has released four piano albums and tours the world.
