Official word from Steinberg on loopmash

Post by Airyck » Wed Dec 18, 2013 8:04 pm

Since loopmash isn't on the app store anymore, it would be nice if someone from Steinberg could please let us know whats going on? To remove it and say nothing just leaves all your customers in the dark... communication is appreciated.

Hi Airyck,

We will put them online again when we have a iOS7 compatibility update.

Ah, like cool water poured upon a burning man, Steinberg. :) Five months late is still better than tossing the app that I purchased. Thanks Steinberg!

Meanwhile, I hope iOS8 is not in the immediate future.

Hey, I just bought sequel 3. I loaded it up. I don't see it in my Cubase 7. How do I load it in where I can see it and use it like I see in the videos?

Sounds like you are all kinds of confused here.
1) This is the loopmash iPad/iPhone version in this forum, not the one that comes with Cubase.
2) Sequel is a separate program from Cubase and loopmash. Not sure what you're trying to do here but Sequel doesn't load in Cubase and also Cubase 7 comes with loopmash (the non-iOS version) which is a VST instrument.
3) What videos? You are talking about 3 different products here. In all of these programs there is a "Manual", I suggest you try reading it, they are very useful and tell you how to use all of these programs in great detail. Also, take it easy, learn one thing at a time. If you don't know how to use what you've already bought, don't keep buying more stuff, stop and learn what you have. After that you can make an educated decision on what you actually should buy next. Good luck.

Cheers,
Airyck

OK, if Steinberg is serious about fixing LM then I think they better bust a move. I did pay $$ for this doorstop after all.
