ima adpcm recognition

Post by Crackers » Thu Nov 01, 2012 10:28 pm

hello I was wondering why I canot use this format in wavelab. it tells me the format is not recognized. and when I go to file/save_special(wav)/encode (ACM) I am given the option of saving in ima adpcm (with very litttle options for sampling rate). and why can't I do this in batch?

Soundforge gives these options but is to my knowledge less powerful than wavelab and the batch converter sucks (and a whole lot of different options too) compared to wavelab.

I am a sound designer for games and sometimes I have hundreds of sounds to compress to precice folder structure so this is very important and the ima adpcm is an important format for the platforms and game engins I use.

can you help please.

thanx alot
