Hi Ed,
I don't have the key to 5.5 with NEK. I checked mysteinberg and I only see the trial license there. I opened a support case, but if there were a way to get this working faster, that would be great.

Just got Nuendo 5, came in the mail today.
Been using the Trail...Nu5 installed fine and works...No License issues...Updated to 5.5
and I still get the trial license windows on start up???
My dongle shows the full Nu 5 license but still shows the 5.5 trial.
I guess I need someone to put the 5.5 activation code in my Steinberg account.

Please get this to me asap, I have sessions tonight and tomorrow, the weekend...

Would love to use 5.5

I registered my NUENDO 5 with the ELCC several days ago, and NUENDO 5 works good. But I didn't recieve the activation code for NUENDO 5.5 in my mysteinberg until now. would you please help me? Thanks a lot. :roll:

Have you filled out a support request form? You can find the link in your my steinberg account.
I did and my issue has been resolved pretty quick.

Nuendo 5 retail installed all good with 5.xx but no activation code for 5.5.
Perhaps you can work some magic for me.

I am another user who has upgraded to Nuendo 5 and has not received the Nuendo 5.5 license in my account.

I live in NZ and have contacted Yamaha support Australia as advised but have not received a reply.

Any ideas?

Edit: That was quick! The license number has been placed in my account. Thankyou Steinberg.

I hope this system gets changed before the next big update. It seems like every individual Nuendo user has to be manually authorised by Steinberg! I had to wait several days.

Hi,

I got the loopmash 2 bug.......When i start 5.5.3 i get the following error:

Application 'LoopMash 2' has caused the following error:

eLicenser(s) contain no valid license for this application.

Please connect a valid eLicenser and restart application.


I see the Nek 5 in the elcc, so that's not the problem.....Further more: if i try to startup groove agent i get the same error......Also Halion sonic SE doesn't startup at all......What to do?

Have you checked whether the latest eLicenser Control Center is installed (www.elcc.eu) and have you tried other USB ports for the eLicenser?

Hello There,
I have just upgraded from Nuendo 3 - 5.5.3 and I have an issues with the following.

Application 'LoopMash 2' has caused the following error:

eLicenser(s) contain no valid license for this application.

My eLicenser shows NEK 5 so I can only assume that an additional code is required.

I have checked my mySteinberg account but I don't see a code.

I am having the same problem. I just upgraded from Nuendo 4 to 5. That went ok, but when I updated to 5.5 I have no Activation Code

I am also in need of a 5.5 activation code. I went through the support system two days ago and haven't had a response yet. Any chance of getting that code speeded up?
