Difference in size between HSO and HS SO vst sound

Post by Javier V » Sun Dec 04, 2011 1:47 pm

Hello all!

I just checked the contents of the libraries for the two installations of HSO:
The original 16 bit HSO amounts to 10.7 gigs.
The HSO VST Instrument set (that came with Cubase 6) is only 6.17

does anyone know why the difference? is there some sort of compression? Is some content missing/different?

Thanks for any insight.

Javier

I noticed that too. I thought the full HSO was something like 27Gb though??? Maybe I'm wrong. HSO's Product info page seems to have disappeared from the website, so I can't check,

Neil.
