Experiment with gm and vst symphonic sounds!

Post by janamdo » Wed Jun 13, 2012 1:35 pm

I used the template stringquintet in Cubase 6 and add below the remake of the VST symphonic version
Notice the difference in audio output ..for the GM template it are 5 midichannels routed to one master audio channel
How about the VST instrument setup for this..every sound get a own audiochannel

I hope i am correct here with this exercise?

I would like to hear more about what you saw with these. I have noticed a large difference in output level between Halion Sonic factory library and the HSO library. The HSO sounds are very quiet.
Cubase :: HALion Sonic :: HALion Symphonic Orchestra :: Native Instruments Komplete 8 :: Arturia Analog Experience - The Laboratory :: K-Sounds Piano Samples :: Yamaha Motif ES8 :: Ensoniq SD1 :: Windows 10 64-bit :: 8GB RAM ::

The volume in HSO sound is connectred to the pitchbendwheel(performance controls) in Halion SE..so je must set the wheel to max :)
