I sent my unit back as it was too noisy for me.
However, If you want to use it as intended WITHOUT Cubase taking control of it, do this:
for windows OS, locate the mr extension dll usually in: (program files/common files/steinberg/shared components) open it with notepad and simply delete all its text and save it (make a copy of the original if u still want to use with cubase control later)
for mac i guess it’s the same concept
