Padshop update creates a problem for Garageband

Post by Dave » Sat Apr 11, 2015 9:52 pm

Just installed the latest Steinberg Padshop update 1.3 on my iMac / Yosemite 10.10.3.

Garageband v10 now reports an incompatibility issue with Padshop AU and will not open.

Anyone else on a Mac seeing this?

Cheers

Just found the solution.

The Padshop and Retrolouge 1.1.30 updates do not include the earlier AU update which I had presumably failed to install.

I also notice that the AU updates for Padshop and Retrologue are individual so you have to install them both so Garageband will start.
