Trimmer or similar Function in Samples (for Batching)

Hey there,

Is there a similar PLug-in like the Trimmer tool (Monopass) I can use to batch audio files but instead of Milliseconds, to specify the trim in Samples?

Thanks,
Eitan

No. Why do you need so much accuracy?

Hi there,

I'm editing samples for Sample libraries so accuracy is key :)
I have a situation right now where I need to apply trimming to thousands of files while keeping the perspectives of multiple microphone positions, so with sample accuracy I know exactly what I'm doing in case I have to go back and compare etc..

In situations where sample libraries are made with combinations of mic positions and different distances, I feel that sample accurate editing is the best way to understand the relationship between various samples recorded at different distances. Especially when it comes to phase relationships. Calculation in milliseconds is good but it's only giving me a "ballpark" idea of what's going on.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Eitan

Hi there, I'm reviving this old post...
I'm still on WL 8.5 and I was wondering if in the new version there is a batch plugin that can measure trimming in samples and not only milliseconds.

Thanks,
Eitan

No, sorry, that was not done yet.
